Starting all over, I want to be comfortable in my own skin.

Hi, my name is Rosa. I have used MFP in the past with amazing results. Two years ago I went from weighting 268lbs (my heaviest) down to 178lbs. The Holidays came along and after two years I'm back up at 257lbs. I'm 28 years old, and recently got engaged, I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again. This past Wednesday was my wake up call. I went to an already plus size boutique in search of a blouse for work, after browsing for almost an hour and nothing fitting I felt completely embarrassed and ashamed of letting myself get to this, but I'm done feeling bad for myself and today I have turned a new leaf. I will get healthy one day at a time, first day is almost over and it is going to be a life long journey but I want to feel good about myself again.
Feel free to add me and I you, we can do this together.

I can relate. ..I was overweight my whole life. .. but managed to fight my way down to the 160's....I maintained for 6 years and now I've gained 20 some pounds. .. it feels like alot more. .. for me it's about feeling ok in my own skin. . And I don't. I'm trying to get back. It's awesome that you're motivated to get back to it. It's hard, but so worth it!0

Monica I know exactly what you mean I lost a lot of weight . I halved my size but I myself have put about the same on and it feels like it's wayyyyy more . On a mission now to get rid and feel great again . Funny how when I was so big another 10lbs didn't matter ! Best of luck x0
