Fitbit Calorie Adjustment

Hi guys, I'm not sure where to post this...but I have a fitbit and have been using it with myfitnesspal for almost two weeks. I've noticed that today I've walked almost 8000 steps and 40 minutes of very active minutes and the calorie adjustment was only 2 calories. A different day, I walked only 7000 steps and had only 13 very active minutes and somehow got a calorie adjustment of over 300 calories. Does this make sense to anyone?

This tutorial explains in great detail about fitbit's negative calorie adjustment when you have it linked with MFP. It also explains how to turn this feature off if you don't like it. I keep it turned off as I want to see exactly how many calories I'm burning without Fitbit adjusting it.
