change is hard - but you have enough life experience to know the best things in life take work and focus. Maybe it is harder than it used to be, but you are tougher and more focused than you used to be. Lots of ideas here - and tons of support- you just need to reach out and choose to participate.

No certainly not to late. Just take one step at a time. I am sure there are a lot of people on here around your age who have made the change. Getting fit and healthy has no age limit.

I am 63 and have a lot more to loose than 10 pounds. You shouldn't have to change much to loose 10 pounds. You would be so surprised to see how easy it is to cut a few calories here and there. You can do it!

I don't think there is such a thing as too old. 64 isn't that old. I regularly horseback ride with people 20 years older than you, and you are 20 years older than me. I have a hard time keeping up with them sometimes. Sure change is hard but if you are willing to change the you have already overcome the biggest hurdle. :)

It's never too late. I lost 85 pounds by age 50. I'm still maintaining now at age 54. I did my first fitness competition (and last! lol) last November. I like to stay strong and lean but I don't feel I need to get up there on stage competitions to do it - and I'm proving that too. Losing the fat and lifting weights is the FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH! <3B) And eating healthy too, in the right amount.

Hi, I'm 65 and lost 10kg since December 26. Stick to MFP, record your eating truthfully and it WILL happen. The weight went on slowly and it will come off slowly. Of course there are some weeks when it doesn't go down or maybe goes up, but I know if I have eaten right, it will work itself out. MFP is an amazing resource for us, just let it do its thing. Best of luck, you have loads of support here.
