Went hiking today, very tired & sore in my legs & thighs, so i guess i won't be able to exercise the next couple of days. Should i just rest the next couple of days? or push myself to exercise anyway?

I went hiking for about 6 hours last week in the sierras. I was pretty tired and sore when I was done. Drink a lot of water and make sure you eat back a bit of your exercise calories. Do that and you probably wont be sore tomorrow.0

You could do a bit of active rest - go for a gentle walk, get the blood flowing, do some stretching. Doesn't need to be anything crazy, but sometimes "something" is better than "nothing".0

I did a 12 mile hike with a 2500 ft elevation gain last weekend and was extremely sore. Take a rest day if you have to and then do cardio the day after that, minimum. You'll be a little stiff at first but after 5 or so minutes you'll warm up and be fine. Don't get out of your routine and stay active.0
