Goodmorning! What does it mean below my steps taken for the day, it says "negative adjustments are disabled...."

If you have your activity level on MFP set to anything other than sedentary and you don't get enough steps in for the day/burn enough calories it will take calories away from your daily goal to compensate for the calories you didn't burn.
Does that make sense? My brain is foggy from this head cold I'm fighting, so maybe someone else can explain it better.
