It is harder because your metabolism slows so keep it reved by moving a lot eating 6small meals a day ,every 2 1\2 hours to 3 hours.

Thank you!! I had lost almost 40 lbs about 4+ years ago thru weight watchers & excercize; then 'life' happened (started college & dad got sick/passed) and put it all back on :-(. But now it's not coming off like it did!! But then again, I haven't been consistent...I started TODAY to be consistent again & I will take your advice!
    Thanks again!!!

If you search the groups there is a menopause group which is several of us. I'm hoping someone else hops on here and posts a link...my MFP expertise has not extended that far yet!

I find that at this age (50) I have to be more diligent and careful than ever before...1200 calories with the majority coming from good foods (lean proteins, vegetables, fruit, and healthy fat). I do save a few calories for my morning coffee and a chocolate at the end of the day.

How in the work do I join more than one group?? I try but it won't let me browse other groups after I join 'one'!
And thanks ladies, I so appreciate this support !! I'm on FaceBook ( who isn't LOL ) but this time around I'm not posting about it because I never seem to follow thru!! But with this MFP community, I can PLUS receive vital advise & give it as well!!'

Yep this is me I lost from 269 -170 after a Stage IV Cancer bounce back. I kept most of it off for 4 years. Now that the ugly Menopause bug has got me and I've gained 20 lbs and I don't like it. I have no energy and I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. I'm not a quitter though so I hope we will get some solid help here.
