What if your exercise time runs to the next day?

Hi wondering if I should feel weird when an exercise runs to the next day? My wife and I care take for her grandfather and some times we don't get him to bed till late. We walk a 3 mile rout every night or as often as we can sometimes it's close to midnight. So on those days when we come back late should I really count that as part of our next day's workout? Just wondering what some thoughts may be thanks

I'd count it "the day" and not "tomorrow". For myself, it would just seem easier that way. Your body doesn't know that the day had changed, so it won't really matter. For logging, stay consistent and it evens out.0
