60 or 30 minutes?

Hi. What is better: 30 minutes on an elliptical 5x a week or 60 minutes 3x a week.
I've been doing 60 minutes but getting a bit burned out. Want to keep the same amount of workout but spread it better.
Any tips?

30 minutes 5x a week would even be too much for me. It's personal. If you're burning out with 60 minutes, mess around until you find an amount that is sustainable/manageable for you.0

Do you switch up machines... Pick 3 machines and do 20 on each...0

I was told switching machines helped you burn more calories..just saw on tv that Fergie does elliptical, bicycle and treadmill.0

Not sure if this is true or not but it provides a slightly different workout for different muscles0

Better in what way? For me, 5 minutes on the elliptical is too much, I get bored just thinking about it0

Thanks all for your replies. I like the idea of switching up the machines.0
