Looking for U.K friends

Hello, I am 40 years old, a mother of 3, aged 20, 17 and 2 and looking for friends especially in Blackpool area. I moved here 2 years ago and being an older mum I don't have much in common with the young mums so haven't made any friends at all. Would love to meet someone of similar age with a young child to meet up and have walks along the prom with. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, just need to get in shape but I am not able to go to the gym as I have no one to look after my little boy during the day and by the time my husband gets in from work and we've had tea it's too late....

    I'm UK too but a good 50 miles away in Liverpool :( You could try the groups section...I think there is a UK group, you might have more luck there :)

    Thanks for the replies :) All is good here except being stuck in the house waiting on a parcel when I could be outside enjoying the sunshine :(

    Am miles away but still in the UK (berkshire) - join the Team UK group and put a post on there as that might help you out with some more local friends.
