Spelling error when complaining about using the wrong word. Hilarious right?

you could have easily done a search and seen this topic a thousand times. I get tired of seeing people post about complaining about things that aren't important.

I know it is annoying-I get REALLY annoyed with it and have been tempted to correct people SO MANY TIMES-but let's all remember that none of us are perfect, and actually, spelling is not that big of a deal. The English language is just a mish-mash of various other languages anyway. We can have one word with two or three completely different meanings. And, at the end of the day, I would care more about the content of what someone is saying, rather than the way the spell it.

I may be sucking the fun out of what was supposed to be a humorous jab. It is definitely a sucking-the-fun-out-of-everything day for me :p

    Agreed.
Also, not everyone speaks English as a first language. I'm French and have mixed the two quite often. And isn't there a thread about this 2-3x a week?!

I am a Grammar Nazi, but I'm also dyslexic. I know damn well if I correct someone else's grammar or spelling, I'll write the word "the" as "teh." So I don't.
