Ok when it comes to nutrition I suck at it!! Usually my husband is the one to help me with this but he's away right now. I was always under the assumption that in order to lose weight you need to burn more than you eat. Lately I've been finding out this is not the case.
So I guess I'm askin help as to what to do.... I'm not a breakfast person so i dont normally eat breakfast. I usually have something in the ballpark of chciken, veg or salad at lunch. And dinner sometimes i eat, sometimes i don't depending if i'm hungry or not. (see told you I suck when it comes to nutrition.)
So I guess I'm askin is the whole 3 meals a day and two snacks a good thing to do? and combind that with how much exercise? Just looking for some ideas about how to approach this and still maintain losing weight each week. I've done the SBD already and then said no fruit or "white" carbs. Should I continue to do this? Ugggg just frustrated because quite frankly I don;t know how to eat.....

Breakfast is important to weightloss... try toast or an egg. Something small will help out a great deal. Breakfast jumpstarts your metbaloism (spelled wrong I know).
Also you need to make sure that you eat atleast 1200 calories in a day. I recommend in calories and not net calories. This way your body gets the fuel it needs. Also took long at lower calories will send your body into shock and starvation mode. That means you won't lose at all because your body is saving the fat.0 -
try a protein shake or smoothie for breakfast. Its easy cos you dont have to "eat". I like the strawberry or fruit ones as I cant stand fake chocolat taste. And yes, you do need to eat regularly. Doesnt have to be full meals. it can be apple and nut butter, yoghurt and fruit, hummus and veg etc. etc. Just make sure each meal has protein of some sort and eat fruit and veggies. Also (lots of instructions here lol) dont forget watyer - lots of it.
Good luck0 -
Get going early in the morning and eat your breakfast. You don't need something heavy, a whole grain English muffin, toasted, with coffee or some other beverage, OJ or milk. You can't have energy if you don't give your body anything to "run on". Good Luck !!
You should be able to get some very good information on a healthy eating plan in a book store, or on the computer. FG0 -
I eat a homemade protein bar for breakfast.0

Carrriebear is right! Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. Yes you should be eating 5-6 small meals a day. depending on your calorie intake it should be around 200-300 calories per meal. You should be exercising 90 mins or less 5 days a week, anything over that and your body breaks down muscle for fuel to keep exercising, which defeats the purpose. You want to build lean muscle. Find something you love to do. yoga, swimming laps, running, crossfit or whatever. And don't forget to weight train. I know your think big muscle but you aren't able to build muscle like a man without a supplement for testosterone and a few others. That should start you off in the right direction.0 -

You don't have to eat breakfast if you don't want to. Eating breakfast doesn't necessarily mean you will lose weight faster.0
