I have been stuck on a plateau for the past 3 weeks and this veiw is getting old. I am at stage where i have a normal BMI range and I guess Im what you would call skinny-fat. I hate that phrase. I have been changing around my workouts to make sure my body does not get used to them. I eat some of what I burn off. I work out 6 days a week faithfully. I am not ready to quit at all just frustrated and Im hoping you guys might be able to see what i am doing wrong or input and how to get off this plateau.
Thank you all

This post really helped me:
Busting a 3 Month Plateau

Best of luck. I'm in another plateau myself, and shaking things up. Most important: Don't give up!0 -
I hear you! I am right there with you. I hate "Skinny-Fat", who came up with that?...
Sorry I don't have any helpful suggestions, but maybe somebody does. I can sure use it.0 -
Have you tried increasing your calories? Maybe, your body needs more calories to burn off what you are. Just a thought, it worked for me.0

Try eating all the calories you exercise off. Since you have the built in deficit already you might not be getting enough calories and your body has put you in starvation mode. Give it a shot and see if it works, might be just the jumpstart you need to get going again0

I know how you feel. been like that the month of April and part of May. I know I was losing even though the scale didn't change because my measurements were going down. Have you measured yourself? That might help because you could be losing inches but not weight.
Don't give up! That is the main thing!0 -
I think you need to eat a bit more so your body knows its okay to let go what its holding on to. good luck!0

I'm feelin' ya, girl! I think mine has finally broken now. I may actually have a loss this week for the first time in about a month!! I think mine was more related to my kidney infection and retaining tons of water as a result, but I have tried a few things to try and help. Here's the suggestions I have gotten: Increase calories; don't eat the same things every day, mix up your menu; calorie cycling/zig-zagging-eating the same total calories in a week but mixing it up day to day so a higher calorie day or two some medium days and one or two low cal days(never below 1200 net). I have started trying the zig zag thing. I'm not really good about being really strict though, if I'm really hungry I will usually give in and eat, so we'll see how it goes. Hang in there! You'll beat this thing!!0

Hi. I just viewed a few weeks of your food diary, and perhaps a few changes to your diet would help you get past the plateau:
1. Eat more fruits and veggies (4-6 servings every day, preferably something at every meal)
2. Eat fewer processed foods (replace with healthier options)
3. Eat more! (looks like you're under your calorie goal regularly)
The idea is to better fuel your body based on your nutritional choices.
Hope this helps!0
