I am not sure I am doing it right so I am asking for some clarification. I do have the Chris Powell book and I have read it. I have the app as well. So this is what I understand. For two days I will be eating low carb meals, 1200 cals a day and a gallon of water. I will then have a high carb day, 1500 cals a day. I see the recipes and food choices. What I would like to know is what is the percentages I should be shooting for each day...like 50% protein 30% carbs and 20% fats on a low carb day (for example) and what would a high carb day look like in percentages? Do I really need to drink a gallon of water a day....I haven't gotten there yet.

curious - why are you carb cycling? It is really not necessary for weight loss, but if floats your boat, go for it...0

I'm not sure how correct this is (I go based on what works for me), but on my low carb days, I typically do a 45%p, 35%f, and 20% c. If I eat any less carbs, I'm cranky. On high carb days, I just switch the carbs and protein. And yes, water is key. I've read that if you take your body weight and divide by half, that's how many oz of water you should be drinking. It's awesome for your skin and heavily reduces bloating throughout the day.0

Trying the carb cycling because I have 5-6 lbs to lose to reach my goal and I have been stuck for several months.0
