Hey, I am trying to track my water intake, and I wanting to know if I put crystal light into my water, can I still count the water? Or because of the sugar in it does it not really count? I know this may sound dumb to some, but I was curious! thanks in advance!!

No reason you can't but I suggest trying the artfficial sweetner types they are good and NO sugar..

I live on Crystal Light, and I count it as water. But... my Crystal Light doesn't have sugar in it. I assumed none of them did? Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe double check the packaging. :)

I always count it as water. I consider the caloric intake of CL to be negligible since there are tons of daily activities that I don't log as exercise.

Me carrying a moody 4 year old through the mall cancels out my 20 oz of Crystal Light ; )

Have you ever tried MiO? I've been using it since I started this "lifestyle change" and have found that I drink a lot more water using it than I did without. It doesn't have any calories.

I use MIO, and I always count that as water...it helps me drink about 12 glasses a day. Mio doesnt have any calories or sugar in it.

I used to use a generic brand (Roundys) Flavor packet... LIGHT... so it has NO calories and NO sugar. I believe Crystal Light LIGHT is zero calories? Regular water can get boring after a while, so I think it's okay to change it up a bit. My worry with those flavor packets, after reading the ingredients, most have aspartame in them, which is cancer-causing... so I stay away from those now! I know they have MiO liquid enchancer now that is calorie free... I heard it's good! maybe try that??

I love the raspberry lemonade crystal light. I get the Walmart brand that is naturally sweetened. There are some added calories, but I found that aspartame in the artificially sweetened variety, would give me a huge headache, & I'd end up a little light headed throughout the day.

Most crystal light does not have sugar and is sweetened with aspartame (10 calories per packet). However, Crystal Light Pure is sweetend with both sugar and rubiana (TruVia - natural no calorie sweetener from the stevia plant) and has 30 calories per packet.

Crystal light now has a new one called crystal light pure, it is all natural with no artifical sweetners or flavors. It's delicious! It has 30 calories per packet but I usually get a least 3 water bottles out of the one packet.Just to flavor it up a bit! I would count it, yes!

The Crystal Light Pure does have sugar and truvia in it but 1 package in 16 oz of water is only 30 calories. I can really do it with just 1 package in 32 oz of water and still be VERY happy! My dietitian suggested it to me since i am having trouble drinking water plain and pick up the artifical sweetner taste in things using them. Even though i am diabetic, she said there really isn't a problem using it as long as I don't go over board. Hope this helps.
