I added strengh straining to my weight loss plan a few days ago. I'm using 5 pound weights to start out with. I was thinking about the importance of using good "form" while doing overhead lifts. I had an ah-ha! Moment and decided to use the bathroom mirror to check. I SAW my abs and side muscles (not sure what those are called) contract! It was beautiful to see my body, especially my stomach area, work like that. It was awesome to see and feel like I'm actually doing something. I don't have to feel like a fool playing with weights.

That's such a good one! I've gotten into the habit of averting my eyes from every mirror and doing whatever I can to avoid seeing my reflection. I was surprised to see myself squat the other day and think hey...I look kind of good....I'm a really good squatter!0
