anyone else here suffer from lymes? I was diagnosed almost 7 years ago now, and it has truly changed my life. There are days where I can't even walk the pain in my legs is so bad. Thus, making it difficult to stick with any work out plan for an extended period of time.
Just curious if anyone else here has been diagnosed or experiences anything similar. And if so, anything help?

terribly sorry. i don't have it or know anyone who does, but the number of deer ticks around here is getting worse and worse every year. i've pulled a ton off myself, my wife and pets. we just had a dog die at 8 years due to Kidney failure and it wouldn't be surprising if Lyme was the culprit.
i truly wish you well on your journey0 -
I was diagnosed last year and am thankful I caught it early. I have an amazing treatment plan, diet recommendations, and can share with you my routine that might help you. Let me know and I can send you a message with details!0

I had lyme disease when I was 18, but fortunately it was treated early and I have no known lingering symptoms. Although I did suffer from headaches and all over body aches for a few weeks. I imagine it feels like arthritis?
Can I ask, was your treatment delayed?0 -
I was treated in August and they think I was infected in April/May so yes, mine was. But I never had a single symptom until the day I was diagnosed (woke up that day with a bunch of symptoms).
I suffer from the headaches and body aches also. Mainly in hips/legs and yes, it is a lot like arthritis but sometimes much more severe.0 -
I was diagnosed and treated and dealt with all of the symptoms for almost a year until the fifth specialist I saw said that it was never lyme in the first place. No answers...I just remember waking up not being able to walk, having random swelling and bruises that jumped from joint to joint, extreme tiredness, etc. That was years ago, and the symptoms left as suddenly as they came on, after someone recommended that I try taking echinacea every morning and night. It may be a coincidence, but she actually suffered from Lyme and it helped her tremendously as well. At this point, when/if the symptoms come back for me, the doctors are thinking there is some kind of uncommon autoimmune issue.

Sorry to hear that. I am terrified of getting Lyme. I live in Connecticut right next to the town it was named after. I found 2 ticks on me the other day and the summer didn't even start yet. They are saying this will be the worst tick season in years.0

The deer ticks are worst in spring/early summer and those are the ones that carry Lyme so just keep checking yourself when you come in. They're almost impossible to see, but if you do pick any off of yourself, take the actual tick to be tested so you can be treated right away if you need to!0

My sister had (or maybe has is more accurate term?) Lyme for many years growing up. She eventually made a nearly full recovery, but after watching her feeling so poorly for so long when we were young I have a lot of sympathy for how awful it can be.
She turned a corner in pain management when she started getting botox injections in her back, which was the most painful part for her. Now she's active, hikes, rides horses and such. The botox was a huge improvement but it's hard to get it covered by insurance and expensive.0 -
Have Lyme also. Been treating it for 4 years now. I've learned so much and it's forever changed my life but I've grown to learn so many positives from it. You didn't have symptoms in the past because it can be dormant. So your immune system gets to a point of being too low to fight off the bacteria and then the bacteria begins to replicate, eventually causing symptoms which seem out of the blue. Not every case is like that but I had the same thing, just started randomly one day. Anyone add me and message me that wants advice on it since I've learned so much from others and know how hard it is to deal with ill always try to help others or to collaborate in general or just wants to talk/support each other with it0
