Ok. I am tracking EVERYTHING. I have a food scale, and am wondering if I should weigh my potato before or after it is cooked? They lose a couple of ounces after baking. What is the correct way?

you need the weight that corresponds to the data you are using. Raw data, raw weight etc.0

Before cooking is always the most accurate. If you have to weigh after it's cooked, use a 'baked' entry.0

Raw weight is more accurate than cooked, so do it that way if you have the opportunity0

I always try to log it whichever way i ate it cause that is the calories i actually ate. Just make sure your log entry is the right one.0

I use raw weight.0
