HELP!! ingredients in pasta and noodles?

Hi all!
So having a huge debate right now. I have read the ingredients for both dried and tinned spaghetti, instant noodles and dried pasta. None of which says in the ingredients that it contains eggs, however, everyone I know are adamant egg is needed to bind the wheat and flour ingredients together. I am vegan so I can't touch anything dairy.
Help?

From what I've just read, pasta can be made with or without eggs. I guess you would have to contact the manufacturer if the label does not provide that information.0

Can be made both ways and does affect the taste. I think it is because home made pasta generally has egg and flour. Egg is a great binder, but really water can work well After all that is the binder in bread.0

Have you ever tried using red lentil pasta or black bean pasta?? Better for you in every way and tends to be a little less calories.0

Egg pasta is more expensive than the other kind. If it had eggs in they'd be showing off about it.0

It doesn't matter if it's dairy or not. Vegan = no animal products whatsoever.
From what I understand, nearly every basic pasta is vegan. You have to buy the specified "egg noodles" for pasta with egg in it.0 -

Now I'm wishing for a chocolate version of the Cow Egg!! Pity Easter is over. I may recommended it to Cadbury's for next year! If they make it with chicken milk I may die happy!

Gluten in flour is what binds in bread and pasta.Eggless pasta can be made With flour water and olive oil..Lay your flour out make a well in the middle and place your water olive oil in the well Then knead out the pasta..The difference in dried and fresh pastas is in the flour and processing.. While most fresh pastas do contain egg, most dried pastas are processed with a Semolina flour and water paste..If egg is not listed on your dried pasta as an ingredient then there out starch in the product.0
