I've heard sleep is important while your body is going through so many changes while exercising and dieting. I have a 1 yr old and I get maybe 5 hours a night. I was just wondering what sleep does for weightloss and why it's so important?

Here you go :) Personally, I have had insomnia since I was a child. I finally got these pills at target. They are the generic up and up brand, 4 dollars for a 2 month supply, and are non- habit forming. They don't make me drowsy persay, but as soon as I lay down and close my eyes, I fall to sleep instantly. It is odd. But I would seriously try that. Attached is a great article on the effects of lack of sleep.

Thanks for sharing this. I would totally agree. Besides that, I think that when you are super tired, your common sense shuts off and that part of your brain that doesn't want to eat 6 donuts for breakfast doesn't process it.
