Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what are the best thigh exercises for someone with a bad knee...I tried the squats but they really aggravate my knee...Thanks for your suggestions!

Extensions and presses. I use resistance bands for both.

Lie down on the floor, on your side, with legs straight and stacked. Put a heavy dumbbell on the top leg's thigh and do leg raises for the number of desired repetitions. Switch legs.
Lie down on the floor, on your side, with legs straight and stacked. Raise the top leg up about a foot. Put a dumbbell on the lower leg's thigh and raise it up to meet the other leg. Switch legs.0
