Just getting started!

Hi - I started trying to get in better shape back in January. Not really a new years resolution - just coincidental timing. I have been going to the gym for weight lifting, doing some running (trying to do more), Stand Up Paddle Boarding. Still not getting all the results I want - so trying to use My Fitness Pal to track food seems like a good next step!

Would love to have some friends on here to get encouragement and motivation! Tired of just seeing my own posts in my feed - Ha!

I live in Grenada and teach sailing down here - from Seattle and Eastern Washington.

    Grenada is great! We love it down here. Have to get up early to go running if you don't want to melt - but it's a small price to pay.

    Running the sailing school is a lot of work, but still love being down here!

    Thanks for sharing the Shakeology information. So far we have just been lifting weights, running and using MFP to track our calories. I'm down about 6 lbs. since January. Have probably added some muscle too, so not bad.

    We have also been making our own shakes with all the great local fruit available. Not possible everywhere I know.
