last 20-10lbs the hardest ? help

I Always find the last lot harder to loose
Suppose it could be a bodies way of storing it incase of food shortage
So has anyone found ways of pushing down this barrier x

    Patience. Logging. Trusting that burning more calories than you consume works. Staying with it. (That's about all I've got to offer.)

    Your body only stores fat if you eat too much. It's just hard to lose because there isn't as much. Be patient and keep on working to your goal.

    In my experience, this last 10 pounds is immensely more difficult to lose than the previous 55 pounds. It's not the same for everybody though.

    This is the only thing that works, especialy patience. Don't give up!

    Once you've lost the majority of your fat you will require less calories than when you started in order to lose weight. I find it more difficult because I have to exercise more to get the same results as I did when I was bigger (assuming you want to eat the same amount of calories).

    Definitely a believer in the "fat trap", for the same reasons most issues are better off prevented than treated. It requires (on average) less average caloric intake and/or more exercise and calories burned for a person trying to maintain a body weight who was once fat- than someone who was never overweight to begin with. It's tough but not impossible, just remember constantly how far you've come, and don't resort to ANYTHING you cannot maintain.
