Newbie looking for some motivation

Hello there! I signed up for this app last year but always forgot to check in and I ended up deleting it to free up storage for another app. I'm looking to lose 20kg by September but the only problem is I love my food and I am the most unmotivated person ever
I was looking to see if anyone is in the same boat or if anyone has any tips for motivation or toning up?
Thanks!

Thanks!

Tip take it one day at a time, and don't cut everything out at once, do it gradually you'll more than likely keep at it longer if you do that...add me if you'd like0

Hey! Feel free to add me as a friend so we can motivate each other!
I know what you mean about loving food but wanted to lose weight. Have you ever heard of flexible dieting or IIFYM? It's amazing. I really suggest counting macros over calories, regardless of whether you're trying to lose fat or build muscle. It's a great way to become healthier and change your physique while still eating foods you love and maintaining a good relationship with food.
I'm not trying to say that you can fill your diet up with junk food. It is important you still eat vegetables and hit micros and fiber, but if you want to eat some chocolate everyday, do it. It's a diet most people can maintain without having crazy cheat meals or binging.
I know a lot of people think of it IIFYM as something only used by bodybuilder/physique competitors, but believe me, it's not. I would recommend it to anyone over any crash diet for long term results. You should definitely look into it.
And as far as toning up, lift weights. As heavy as you can. Don't be intimidated by the guys or think you're too weak or that you'll get too bulky, that doesn't happen. If you want muscle tone, you need muscle. Treadmills don't provide that like weights do.
Good luck!!! You got this!!0
