Calories burned...!?!?

Can anyone tell me why my wife and I can do the exact same bike rides and I burn twice as many calories as she does (per Cyclemeter app)? Hers will say she burned 500 calories and mine will say 1000-1100 calories.

heart rate, weight difference, metabolism and the fact that she is a woman and you are a man. Bodies burn calories differently. Tis the curse of being a lady.0

Weight doesn't make much difference, unless there are lots of hills. How far was the bike ride?
Cyclemeter has a reputation for...optimistic...calorie burns.
