Protein shakes before bed?!

I was wondering if drinking a protein shake before bed could cause weight gain? The protein shake I use is slim fast, vanilla flavored, shake mix. Any advice would be appreciated or another protein shake to try.

    Eat when you want, meal timing does not help or inhibit weight loss. If you're hungry then eat!

    I always have a shake before I go to bed as my last meal of the day. Nothing will cause weight gain unless you are taking in to many calories to maintain your current body weight. However, if you have a shake late at night and wake up early in the morning and see you gained weight don't freak out because it is probably that the shake digest fully yet.

    I have dinner normally around 6-7pm then have a shake anytime I get hungry after that before bed. Hasn't caused me weight gain, my bad eating habits did.
