To exercise or not to exercise?

Ok I kind of got this little cold but I'm like getting over it now. I really want to do some cardio tonight but I'm not sure if I should because it might flare my cold up. I actually really want to work my abs out too so I am like undecided if I should work out or get some rest and wait until I'm completely over my cold.

I would do some low level pilates. Yes it burns SOME calories, but you also won't be bouncing around and tiring yourself out. If you don't have any routines, check out Netflix watch instantly, OR, check youtube for a 10 minutes beginner pilates video. There is always at least a trial workout you can use in a pinch! :)

If the cold is contained in your head, you will be ok to exercise. If it's in your chest, take some time off from cardio. I'm not a doctor, but I play one on TV...jk...I am a RN though..:)

Pilates?? I think its illegal for guys to do pilates lol j/k. Yeah the cold is in my head, and it flared up because like I lifted weights the night before and that messed me up! But I'm getting nervous skipping my routine so thanks for the advice Im gonna definitely work out tonight.

Let the way you feel be your guide. You may want to take it a little easier than your normal workout, but I never give up an opportunity for a workout, easy or not.

Go for a nice walk outside, and do some situps. Walking still counts as cardio, and the fresh air should do you good. (Unless your cold was caused by allergies, in which case, stay inside and hug your air conditioners air filter!)
