Weight Training Calories Burned?

How do you all calculate/track the number of calories you burn from weight training?

I'm looking at adding weight training to my exercise routine, but I'm concerned about over or underestimating the calorie burn too much and then messing up my net calories (which is really close to the minimum). Is this something I shouldn't even be worried about tracking?

I wear a HRM when I workout (cardio or weights), but I never really log it. I just eat my TDEE -15% and use that as my goal. I log my workouts as time and calories are 1.

I wear a HR monitor also and I've noticed when I log strength training into MFP it's right around how many calories I burned on my HR monitor. I don't log each individual exercise like you have the option to do. I just log the minutes performed under "strength training" in the cardio section

That's exactly what I do. MFP says only 3 calories per minute. Hopefully I'm burning more, but I'd rather be conservative. I don't consider lifting to be my major source or calorie burn. I alternate running days and lifting days, and definitely create a bigger deficit on running days. But I make sure to add in a lot of walking/movement every day to up the deficit on a daily basis.

Most HRM's aren't very reliable while lifting because it's not very constant (breaks are usually taken in between sets).

You can log it as strength or weight training under cardio, the calorie burn won't be that much and of course will be an estimate.
