Go to recipes and search through what people have posted. You can also google healthy recipes or ingredients you like.
It takes some effort on our part. But you need to read about healthy eating.

I started cycle commuting every day last October, it's been a massive help. My resting heart rate is now at just under 50 and I'm "reasonably" fit.
It also burns a fair few calories which is obviously great for weight loss as well.
I can't really help with recipes, I eat a mainly vegan diet so probably not much help but there's loads of good info out there.
Just be careful to log everything, and take the calories burned estimation with a pinch of salt (if you're trying to lose weight) as it's easy to over compensate if you're exercising regularly, which had always been my problem!

Checking out the 'Recipes' board would be a good place to start.

Lifestyle changes that work for me:
    1. don't buy soda and juice, because these contain lots of empty calories. Drink water instead; eventually you get used to it. Drinking water every hour or so is also a small break for me, making it a good substitution for a cigarette (I've smoked for 3 years). I also drink tea, coffee and the occasional beer . I only drink soda and juice when I am with friends, but even then I prefer water most of the time.
    2. Same like soda, I don't buy chips and candy. I now eat more fruit, especially pears and banana's. I do eat chips and candy with friends/at parties. These exceptions actually help me with staying motivated.
    3. I do allow myself to eat fast food for dinner, but not too often. Like once a week or so. I used to eat it very often, but I feel disgusted by it now.
    4. The first lifestyle change I made when I started losing weight (when I was 106 kg) was that I started incorporating walks in my life; walking to the supermarket, to university, to work, etc. This is still a habit of mine; I don't demand of myself that I walk, I just prefer it now.

So, what I learned: you can get really used to making lifestyle changes (it may be strange/hard at first, but eventually you get past a point of no return where you prefer your new lifestyle over the old one, not just for it's long term benefits, but because you feel better about it.

Also being reasonable to yourself is very important. I give myself exceptions for almost all of my lifestyle changes, except in the case of real addictions; therefore I don't allow myself to smoke. This prevents getting frustrated with our goals and eventually giving up on them.

A favorite fast healthy dinner recipe for me is chicken fajitas, without the tortillas. Or any kind of stir-fry with lots of veggies and some lean protein (chicken and shrimp are two of my favs). Use olive oil and measure it so you do not use too much. Play around with spices for added flavor. I also do not eat it over rice, although you can. 5-min instant brown rice is a good choice. If you have more time, long-cooking brown rice is even better.
