Had hysterectomy last year. Ever since my sweet cravings have been off the charts. Any suggestions to conquer cravings.
Thanks!

sugar free caramels - take a while to dissolve but do the trick for me:)

extra has gum flavors that taste just like the desserts - rootbeer floats, lemon squares, orange creamsicle, strawberry shortcake, etc. When I am having a craving I pop a piece in my mouth and my taste buds get all the flavors without all the calories :)

Another thing that has helped me is to drink Diet Soda (Diet Coke, Diet Rootbeer, etc) and that will often satisfy the sweet tooth as well

Are you taking vitamins? You may have a deficit that has increased your cravings...freeze grapes they are yummy.

Peppermint tea or mint green tea. Mint reads as "sweet" but doesn't add calories to the tea :)

    Dark chocolate
    Quest bar
Low calorie bread with pumpkin butter
Honeyed goat cheese on a cracker
    Greek yogurt

All of these are less than 200 cals, much less if you eat half portions and save the other half for dessert after the next meal.

Find a strong minty toothpaste and bruch your teeth if you feel tempted but don't want to give , sugary good isn't the same so you may not want it....

fruit! flavored water drops, sugarfree gum.. and, of course, when I'm really craving something, I enjoy a serving or two of whatever I'm craving!
