so, i'm doing ok so far today. trying really hard to keep the monster at bay. here is how i've been so far:

Breakfast: 1 cup low fat granola cereal with raisins
1 cup skim milk
1 large banana

snack:
1 fat free, splenda yogurt
3 fibre cookies
1 mandarin orange

lunch:
1 can of chicken rice soup
1 kaiser bun with 50g of hungarian salami
1 peaches fruit cup

i allowed my self a teeeeeeeeeeeny tinnnnnnnnnny piece of peppermint choloate bark (about the size of a silver dollar) and it was yummy. normally i would have eaten half the tin.

i'm feeling good, and i'm full so i should be good until the next snack. i also have some almonds for arond 2 oclock when the grumblies get really bad. i will make it through this day.

Good job girlie! You know what I think? Eating the piece of candy was a good thing ( don't forget to log the cals though): . It keeps you from feeling deprived and wanting to binge. You go. One day at a time. You can get through today!!!! Do you have a plan for dinner?

my plan is pork chops with roasted potatoes and green beans. there is a blizzard here, so it makes it really hard to go somewhere on a whim.:blushing:

Mmmm, my favorite breakfast. I've been skipping the milk lately and mixing the granola and fruit with a 1/2 cup of dannon light and fit vanilla yogurt though, yummy. Today I added strawberries instead of banana and it was even better because I'm starting to get tired of bananas.

    Keep up the good work!

Congratulations!! :flowerforyou: That is great. Sometimes it's hard to overcome that temptation to eat, but, if you give in, and you *really* think about it, do you honestly feel better after stuffing yourself? Negative, lol

Great job! One foot in front of the other, do it enough times, and you'll realize how far you've come.

If you stay up late but have dinner in the evening (like me!), I always have a small snack, just so I don't go to bed with the rumblies.

Good Job, one day at a time just like everything else. on those hard days that you think you can't do it, think about today and know that you can.
