I currently have NO friends on this awesome site! I would love to meet some new people, and work towards a healthier weight, and lifestyle together. If anyone has a few minutes to chat that would be fantastic!

I think some added support could go a long way, I'm back in it after falling off the program for 6 months, i got very discouraged despite good weight loss results without support

I agree with you completely! @jodylynn_94
I love having the option to talk with other people who are working towards the same goals as me.
It is awesome that you are jumping back in after 6 months! Good for you!

Ty Brittany, it wasn't easy starting back, i've started and quit several times over the last couple months, it so easy to be tempted, we all want to be doing the same as our family and friends even when it's bad for us

the fact that you aren't where you want to be should be enough motivation

You are so right. My fiancé is very fit due to his job, and he eats whatever he wants whenever he wants... and just consistently loses weight...it's quite frustrating LOL. But I suppose that is one more thing motivating me to lose weight!

I need more motivation as well. I am motivated to eat healthy and lose weight, but on bad days I just want to do nothing and eat all the cheese in the world!

Capt_apollo focusing on what i am not will only make me lose motivation, I've actually started setting smaller goals. 136 lbs was to daunting

Eat mozzarella its low fat. I make a mix of salted nuts and dark chocolate to appease my cravings on high stress days

I am new to this site and have found tons of support and motivation. I also came up with my own "ribbon challenge". That has been helping me out a lot with motivation! Wrap a pretty silk ribbon around your waist, cut it to that length and take a look at home long it is. Hang it up somewhere where you will see it everyday (I hung my next to my full length mirror). Everytime you lose an inch, wrap it around you, cut the inch off and hang it back up in the same exact spot! Great way to see your progress and to put into perspective just how big you are. Mine is almost as tall as I am and is an inch taller than my full length mirror! I have a LONG way to go!

Pickles are NO calories, only sodium. And Lipton Green Tea Superfruit is NOTHING AT ALL!! I sweeten my cup with a tsp of honey which is only 20 calories. Ive been able to replace my coffee with tea in the morning!

Those are awesome ideas! Thank you! I have a hard time cutting out high sugar items... like soda. If I just stopped drinking it I think I would feel so much better. But Its so hard.

@brittanywaulters the way I cut out soda a few years back was switching to flavored sparkling water, and then eventually cutting that out too.

I find when I'm pushing myself to meet a water goal I'm less likely to reach for a soda. I mean you wouldn't grab a drink if you already had one
