Most annoying fellow gym denizen...

My gym has one bench press station that is constantly in use. I nominate the guy who got there 10 seconds before me, put 2.5lb plates on the bar, straddled the bench, and proceeded to do bicep curls... Without even turning my head, I could see three other locations/setups where one could do bicep curls with 50lbs...

Well first of all, I am practically a 40 year old woman and can do a 50 lb curl. So who is this guy trying to impress with his workout. I wish you could issue a yellow card to people doing stupid things at the gym. If you get 3 different yellow cards you get asked to leave. It seems simple enough. I know quite a few guys at my gym that would be getting cards for not cleaning up after themselves. My typical rant "okay Hulkzilla I can see that your big, but I have absolutely no interest in putting away these 500 lbs of plates you dragged out to do like 5 shrugs....0

The person doing side shoulder raises a foot in front of the entire dumbell rack whats even worse is her trainer taking up the rest of the rack with her presence.. No respect!!0

Criticizing somebody for how much they lift is rude.0 -

Seriously. It's people like you who make me terrified to use the weights at my gym because I'm afraid I'll be judged for lifting too little or doing the wrong exercise with the wrong equipment in the wrong place. You were a newbie once so have some respect for those of us who have no idea what we're doing but are trying to better ourselves anyway.0
