hi why is it when things start going right for me ,theres always something to knock me back down , i first started my journey 7 years ago ,i managed to lose 4 stone with the help of perscription drugs, but once i got took of those my weight started to balloon again , so here i am starting again since january 2011 i lost 7 pounds and ended up putting it on again due to me overeating cos i stopped smoking ,ive managed to start losing little again and now ive pulled a disc in my back , so can no longer exercise , but all i can say is a big thank you to all my new friends on here for all your support and i will try my best to keep on supporting you , (even though im jealous to death lol ) thanks for listening RANT OVER , just wish my back would hurry up and heal so i can get back on it i feel like a right let down x x x x x

    Don't worry just try to eat your very best until your well enough to exercise. That in itself should help.

    Right there with you. I will find a little success and then struggle again. I think I have lost the same 3 pounds over and over in the last month or so. It is good you have supportive friends. Your back will heal and then your work will pay off even more-until then, hang in there and do what you can. Nothing worth having is ever easy...

    Yup! Just try hitting enter my day, at the beginning of the day, before you even eat! It will show you you still lose weight laying around in bed all day! lol Just try to eat sensibly and you can still "do something". Maybe the dr can give you some stretching or strengthening exercises you can do in bed or something too. That's what my 89 year old Father does, and he still gets a nice little work out. Good luck with your back.

    Shelly I think you are doing so well. Every time you have a set back you get right back on, which is not an easy thing to do. And giving up smoking is no mean feat! It's such a shame that you've hurt your back but focus on eating right and you'll soon see the scale move again! Keep going - you are doing great!!
