scale wont budge

Im 5'5 , 273 lbs. Mfp says to eat 1630 cal, but i dont know how much carbs, protein, or fat to be eating. I need to lose 130 lbs. I have the chance to have gastric sleeve , but i wanted to try and lose it on my own. Any help is appreciated.

To lose weight, eat what MFP says to eat. You don't need to worry a lot about how much comes from carbs, protein, and fat, though it is a good idea to aim for nutritional meals, since eating at a deficit means you have less food to get your nutrients from.0

Agreed dont worry about macros, focus on your deficit.

My tip: Buy a kitchen scale and weigh everything you eat.. You can't just eyeball it or guess.

Start by hitting your calorie goal. The rest pretty much falls into place.0
