Weighing in tomorrow

okay I'm
Going to be weighing myself tomorrow at the gym before I work out I normally have a banana before I leave the house and I do my run/cardio .. Will eating the banana effect my weight much!? Or will it not matter? Helppp!

    Haha okayyyy so that shall be a no then? Unless my banana weighs a few pounds I think I will be fine lol

    No.. but if you are worried that undigested food is going to effect your weigh in.. I would eliminate it.. :D

    Maybe you can bring the banana but weigh yourself before you eat it, just in case :)

    How do you usually weigh in? Really, consistency is the key if you are tracking your weight. You want to keep the circumstances surrounding your weigh-in pretty much the same each time. For example, I weigh every morning, nude, after going pee. This way I am not weighing my clothes or what I've eaten or had to drink. I starting doing this from the very beginning (2 1/2 yrs ago) so I have a good record that shows a downward trend. Good luck to you!

    Yeah that's prob wiser I just don't fancy running on an empty stomach lol normally I eat my banana about 30 mins before I get to the gym so I'm getting the benefits of it and so I don't feel faint/dizzy for when I run

    The most important thing about weighing, is consistency. Same time, place, circumstances (naked). If last time you weighed was at this gym, under the same circumstances, then you have no issue. If last time you weighed was home, first thing in the morning after using the toilet, then I would bag that banana and wear as little as possible for this weigh in.

    Well normally I go to the gym and just weigh myself but for the past week I've been eating a banana as I wasn't feeling too good while running on an empty stomach and a few people had said its not wise to run on empty as your body starts to waste muscle instead of fat or something I'm not too sure .. I think I will just take the banana with me and eat it after weighing myself And thanks blc1971 :)

    Thanks Lifting4Lis and everyone else. I actually just joined this today and it's great getting everyone's input and answers it's a lot better than searching google like I have the past few days for answers to questions
