I workout five days a week one hour - I just started having a shake after workout to ensure I get enough protein - is this really a good idea? And will I still loose weight?

    Having a shake is completely fine to have after a workout! You will lose weight as long as you are in a caloric deficit (taking in less calories than your body needs to maintain your current body weight)

    You will lose weight by continuing to be in a deficit. If you're lacking in protein, there is nothing wrong with the shake. If you're not, then I would save my calories for food.

    Thanks for your reply - I'm definitely not getting enough protein throughout the day and workout late 7-8 pm and not hungry when I get home but need to eat something so hoping the shake is good option.
