Syncing Fitbit with MyFitnessPal Help please

I am trying to sync my Fitbit with MyFitnessPal. The instructions say to log into MFP, click Apps, click Connect, choose Fitbit, then click Allow. It's all good until I get to the the "Allow". After I click Connect, it takes me to open Fitbit app, so I open and nothing...that's it. They don't sync. The word "Allow" or anything even close to it never appears anywhere.
Please help me!
Please help me!

Apparently they are having issues right now. Someone posted about it yesterday & a ticket was put in. In the meantime, she posted a link to go to so that you can do it on your computer

You can also connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit
FYI, MFP has a Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users0 -

When they are connected it sends over the step count. While Fitbit should be already sending over your steps, you won't actually see them on the MFP app unless you have Fitbit selected in the settings. On the website, you will only see them on the "Check In" page.
Go to the menu in MFP's app
Select Steps
Make sure Fitbit Tracker has a check next to it
If it does and it's still not working like it should, you should contact MFP's support.0 -
@shadow2soul thank you! I did all of the above but it still didn't sync then I went into my Fitbit app and synced it from there. When I came back to MFP my steps were there!0
