I estimated my weight when I started MFP a few days ago, and today wen I weighed myself, I'm actually 4 pounds smaller than my estimated weight. How do I correct this? Do I have to make a whole new profile with the correct weight? Or is there a way to update my profile? Idk if it will give me a new set of daily calories...
Any answer will be appreciated!

Oh not at all. Just update your weight with these instructions:

Go to Home, Check In, Update Previous Entries.

You'll see an option to input a different starting weight.

On the website, click "settings" at the top of the page, go to "update diet/fitness profile" and you can change your information there.

I think it's similar on the app, but I don't have it in front of me.

Oh, yeah, that one from nikki will probably be better. That way it overwrites the earlier entry, rather than showing it as a loss.

Yes I got it! Thank you both very much. Just one more question: should I be given a new set of daily calories, or should it stay the same??

Sometimes 4 pounds is just enough to give a different intake. Did it change it for you after you entered your new weight?

Should be good. Sometimes when I lose/change weight I have to go in and select my weekly goal again to get it to re-register.

I recheck my goals about every 10 lbs lost and it changes my calorie limits

My suggestion is to just start entering your "real" weight and go from there.
