Working out everyday

hi everyone

I'm new to my fitness pal and exercising bit more now that usual. Just want to know is it ok to do exercising everyday for 15-20 minutes? No weights just squats lunges crutches etc? I know you need to rest your muscles but since I'm not doing weights and is it still ok? I also do yoga and Pilates for a total of 3 hours a week. I don't want to overdo it and not give my muscles a rest if it's still required. Thanks for help in advance!

    Add one day a week rest day, I highly recommend it. Good luck!

    I do an hour's worth of full body with weights x 6 days a week, + 2-3 hours of yoga per week, and I'm not broken yet! Just give yourself one full day a week like smiley_emi123 says.

    I've been going to the gym for an hour & 1 hour class every day Monday - Friday & have the weekend as cheat days & my I feel better than ever :smile:

    I workout everyday but rotate what I am doing to give specific muscle groups time to repair and rest... It is up to you, if you feel you need a rest day - have one, if you enjoy your workouts then keep going!

    I try to do cardio 7 days a week - lift weights 4 days a week and every week my body tells me to take a day off so I d. Its funny how that works and is consistent!!
