Hi everyone....just wanted to share with everyone a great running program. I've never been a runner, but I wanted to start, so I googled and found this program "Couch to 3K". It's, I believe, an 8-week program that gets you off the couch and running 3 miles a day in just 8 weeks. I am on my 2nd week and I can't believe it......it really works!!

    I'm starting (!) something similar - C25K (Couch to 5 K).

    There's a great Android app for it so you can log your exercise every day.

    I did the c25k a few years ago and loved it! Before I started to school I could easily run 6 miles. I have just started back to running and it is way easier this time around. :)

    Uh yep, many people here are doing Couch to 5K.

    yours is probably couch to 5k as well (5K = 3.1 miles)

    Did day 2 of week 3 today! So far it's been fairly easy. I've been told by several people that week 5 is the mist challenging.

    yeah, I'm only on the end of week 1. I am trying to do 5 days instead of 3. I started this program months ago, but then got interrupted and had to keep starting over. This time...nothing is stopping me!! Glad to hear it's going well for you.
