I ate over my calories by 298. Does that mean tonight i need to burn it or do more in the morning when i usually work out

    Use the zig-zag approach. It works wonders. One day you're below your goal, next day you're above it. Everything averages out over a one-week period and you're not white-knuckling through the process. Google it if you're nervous about it, but believe me..... it is very, very effective!

    What are you eating? Can you open your diary?

    My first two or three weeks using MFP trained me in which foods made me satiated and which foods just kept me hungry. I'd slip up a few times, but just got back on track and made smarter food choices. I still eat all the things I like, I just save the calories for them. I never have a "slip up" any more, unless it's planned.
