When adding a food to mfp do you weigh item before cooking? For example: sweet potato roasted?

I always weigh before as I steam most things and think some veg keep more of the water.0

I always weigh before only because I tend to plan what I am going to eat that day in the mornings so it is not a rush at tea time.0
