The 3:1:1 Principle by Jim Stoppani

This principle has done wonders for me so far, 10lbs in just over 1 month without losing any of my 'gains'.

Jim Stoppani suggested in one of his youtube videos (Shortcut to Shred) that you should apply the 3:1:1 principle. This is where you have 0.5g of carbs and fat per lb of body weight and 1.5g of protein per lb of body weight.

Now this is quite difficult to do when you start (and on your weighing in day) because your body is not used to low carbs (well mine wasn't anyway) but it does get easier and you find that towards the end of the week that you know your macros (macronutrients) need adjusting again.

I suggest weighing yourself at least once a week as when you get a bout 1 month in you find the end of the week quite easy.

Well it is easy for me to do 1 gram per body weight in protein and .5 gram carb and .5 fat per body weight..

1.5 would still prove impossible for my little old self... unless I was body building and in a bulk cycle and can eat that many calories.... :D:D
