couch to 5k

Hello All,

I am new to the sight and wanted to find some others on here who are beginning runners as well. I've just started the couch to 5k program and thought it would be great to talk with other about how they are progessing and keep each other motivated. Good luck to everyone out there!!!

    Today will be my 2nd day doing Couch to 5K! I hope I have lost enough weight so far to be able to run! I'm really excited! Good luck!

    I'm starting week 5 on monday. I have my first 5k coming up on July 4th.

    I just started week 7 - it's a great program as I'm sure you've heard numerous times here. I've started it in the past and have never made it this far - training for a 5K on July 4th as well - feel free to friend me (anyone in this thread) for some encouragement!

    Hello...I just finished week 7, and can't believe how far I've come...actually, last night I decided to keep running after my 25 minutes, and ended up running for 30 minutes straight...now I need to work on the distance...I ended up running about 2.75 miles in the 30 minutes.

    It's awesome to hear all this feed back on the program! I twisted my ankle yesterday and may have to take a week of the program. VERY disapointing!!

    that's all good - just make sure you take care of your ankle this week so you can be back at it. Maybe you can do some extra strength training this week instead
