Look at where your sugar is coming from (if it's not obvious, as I think it usually is) and eat smaller portions. If your calories are fine, increase portions of other foods with more protein or fat to keep calories constant.
Hard to say more without knowing what you perceive as challenging about it.0 -
I just recently switched to a lower carb higher protein intake because my body process it better. To cut out carbs I switched breakfast two a protein shake and eggs. Then I try to stick with more meats and less breads and starches through out the day. Hope this helps. It was hard at first but the weight is falling off and I am fuller longer0

Not trying to be snarky, but read your food labels. You are on the right path with MFP so once you start logging your food you will see how much carb and sugar they have. For me, if I make a protein shake with a banana and other fruits, I use half the banana and will pretty much do only protein and salad for dinner. Good luck.0

My advice would be to eat less carbs. There's no trick to cutting carbs. Why 150g? That's less than I, a woman, eat during a cut. Carbs don't make you fat - too many calories make you fat. Also, sugar is just a carb. There's no need to track sugar separately unless maybe you're a diabetic or something.
Foods with little to no carbs include meat, eggs, and cheese. Vegetables are pretty much all carbs, but they're still very low for the volume you get. Low carb fruits include any kind of berry.0 -
Stop drinking your calories (just drink water). For most people this helps with taking in too much sugar. Eat whole foods and this will help as well.0
