I want to log my exercise in but I don't know how you figure out the calories burned. For example I just walked 25 minutes for a total of a mile.

That's just under 2.5 miles/hour. There's a setting for that in the Exercise database, I think. Just select it, add your time and it'll figure out the calories. Word of warning: MFP is thought to estimate high for calories burned. You may want to only eat back about half of the stated calories.

I did the same thing! Good for us! I'm still new to the site and still trying to figure everything out, but what I did was in the exercise box, keyword search "walk" and it brought up walking fast, walking leisurely, walking slow. That seemed to work for me. Good luck to you!0

It's telling me I have to put the calories burned. It won't calculate for me.0
