Calories?

sometimes I eat 1000 calories and I'm full and fine. Other nights I eat closer to 1500 and still feel hungry. I'm starting to wonder if I should focus more on eating healthy foods and keeping up with my current exercise (running about 4-6 miles a day) instead of calorie count. I was just wondering what works for you? And if anyone has any tips? Thanks!

Are you after a specific goal such as losing or gaining weight? I keep track of calories and macros currently because I'm trying to put on some size and it makes it easier to see how much I'm eating and could potentially gain.

I can't hit my calorie goal without going over other stuff. I hit my macro marks and I guess I'm good. Maybe that's more important.

What you eat makes a big difference in satiety. Definitely eat healthy. If you find you need more calories, you can always snack on nuts, avocadoes, olives, etc.
