The less processed foods you eat, the less sodium you'll be taking in. It's a fairly simple fix. For instance salad dressings (even the non creamy ones) are considered processed.. They're also packed with sodium (to help preserve it and let it last longer). The more fresh non-processed foods you eat, the lower you're sodium intake will likely be.0

Cook from scratch! It seems daunting at first, but I've learned to batch cook meats and freeze for use later. Grilled chicken, shredded pork, etc...to make meals quicker to get on the table.
Cutting processed foods is key, but necessary at times for convenience. Try and find foods that are labeled "reduced sodium" or "no salt added" like canned tomatoes, broth, beans, etc...
Read labels! Bread is so high in sodium. Look for lower sodium alternatives and reduce your consumption of bread, crackers, etc...
Look for meats that don't have sodium added. Raw Chicken is notorious for added "solution" code for bucket loads of salt! Also anything that come marinated has tons of salt! There are some lower sodium deli meats out there too.
Make your own seasonings - like taco seasoning. So easy and tastes way better.
Don't add salt when cooking. Use dried/fresh spices to increase flavor or add it at the table if necessary.
If you buy frozen veggies, check those too. Some brands add salt.
Avoid eating out.
Hope this helps!0
