Hit my original goal today, (225), 10 days early! Started out around 312 about 27 months ago.

Next goal, 212 by the 4th of July to complete my ultimate goal of losing 100 lbs and gaining Healthy Independence! ;)

Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol all under control without any meds since around Christmas 2010.

Not only did the world not come to an end today, but I did it and it feels absolutely amazing! :)

I have one old pic here:

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/213637-no-more-diabetes-or-high-blood-pressure-70-lbs

I have a few more from further back that I still need to locate, wasn't exactly seeking the camera back then, so they are few and far between if you know what I mean ;)

My latest pic is the one in my profile, that's a couple weeks old already, I'm about 5 lbs lighter than that right now.

    Thanks for the congratulations everyone!

Finding MFP three months ago has made the final leg of this journey a whole lot easier.

For those of you just starting your journey, if you find inspiration in mine, that makes me happy, but it's ultimately up to you to make YOU happy.

With time, consistency and honesty towards yourself, you can do it!
