I am very good at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's when kids go to bed I tend to eat the wrong things. I feel I am sabotaging myself. I exercise great for a week or so and then any excuse will do

I did great for about a month...lost 6 lbs and now nothing. My hubby and I are doing this together and he gets in a lot more fitness than I do, but I try to be very good with my food (and usually am) but I'm losing motivation when my scale doesn't budge and he continues to lose. I know it doesn't help you, but I'm looking for the same type of motivation.

You arent focused or commited enough. Upoi need to take it seriously if its importamt enough for you, then at the time you start eating other stuff just remind yourself what the consequences are for your deficit.

    You have other options like:

Do more exercise, but its never going to outpace a bad diet.
Allocate calories to the end of the day.
Have a treat ready for afyer you put the kids to bed.
Dont have the means to sabotage yourself in the house i.e dont buy the stuff you are binging on.

Its boring losing the same weight and regaining it. Get your brain in the game, take responsibility and commit if you wnat it badly enough.

I understand how you feel. I was on the same type of cycle. You feel utterly defeated. Fine during the weekday, lose it by Friday, gain by Tuesday. I decided to identify and own my mistakes/issues.

Have something small. For example, I eat a small piece of protein in the evening with a literal handful of veg, walk for an hour after kids are in bed. I eat a handful of pistachios (20 or 30 I shell myself) with a big cup of mint tea after the walk in front of Netflix. Feels decadent lol. I feel so full and it stops me from eating everything in the house. It is now a habit that I look forward to.

Weight loss is really about what we put in our bodies. Hope that helps and good luck! :)

I'm just getting back to being on track, but what I found in the past is to: paint your nails, go to bed, have a bath, go for a walk, read in bed/watch tv in bed (and no food allowed in bed!) :) You can do this!! Keep at it!! Believe in yourself.

i always exercise in the evening. even 20 minutes. it motivates me to not undo my hard work! and i also save 100 cals for either a small ice cream bar or some popcorn in the evening. sometimes i need it, sometimes i don't. but it's true u have to seriously want it. i was 'stuck' at the same weight for almost a year. then i decided i'd had enough and now i am steadily losing. the phrase-just do it- is basically the truth
